Hello & Welcome!
I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving individuals in the state of Oregon. I have a Bachelor's in Sociology and Chicano/a Studies from University of California Santa Barbara and a Master's of Social Work from Portland State University. My experience includes years of work in outpatient community mental health, hospital social work, and mental health crisis services.
As the daughter of immigrants, I grew up watching and supporting my Latino community, I witnessed individuals who felt marginalized, alone, and vulnerable. I've grown to be a clinician who has a passion for supporting people who don't fit the box such as being an ally to the LGBQTIA+, survivors of trauma, and anyone needing guidance or healing from their experiences being marginalized.
My temperament is kind, warm, authentic, and non judgmental. I want to create a safe space with you as we partner in your mental health journey. That space we've created is collaborative, giving and receiving feedback so that we can adjust and repair around conflicts.
All of my services are offered in English and Spanish.
I offer immigration evaluations for Extreme Hardship, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Asylum, U-Visa and T-Visa cases.
I am approved by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers as a supervisor, for both CSWA supervision toward licensure and ongoing professional consultation.
